Biker Kush by Karma Genetics is a blend that combines potent and flavorful elements from famously potent parents. Created by crossing Hell’s OG and Lucifer OG (Hell’s OG x SFV OG Kush), Biker Kush pays homage to California cannabis propagators and their intermingling genetics. This stretchy plant produces dense, deep green buds that reek of lemon Pine-Sol and lush, floral earth. Biker Kush has a 9 to 11 week flowering time and a high THC content.
Grape Louie is a strain that has recently emerged in California dispensaries. It is a cross between the Grape Kush and LUI strains. Grape Louie is a strong indica-dominant hybrid that is not for the faint of heart.
Grape Louie has a sharp, fruity aroma with a slightly Kush aftertaste. Primary effects are a relaxed body buzz, but with a euphoric cerebral edge.
Occasionally you'll find King Louis, a heavy indica, crossed with any grape strain where King Louis is the dominant strain being sold as Grape Louie. The effects and taste are very similar so for the most part the average user won't be able to tell the difference. King Louis buds will be a littler denser than Grape Louis and have a darker, more evergreen tree color and look.
Lab tests show a very high THC content for Grape Louie, of 25%-plus. Myrcene and Caryophyllene are the two most dominant terpenes present in Grape Louie. These terpenes account for the red grape and peppery taste/aroma many users wll notice. The Caryophyllene accounts for many of the anti-inflammatory anti-anxiety properties found in Grape Louie.
Banana Kush is a cross of Ghost OG and Skunk Haze
When people think of Kush, they tend to think of couch lock. While Banana Kush does have some heaviness to its effects, the stereotype of Kush varieties doesn’t hold for this strain. This strain smells like many Kush varieties, with an earthy base, but Banana Kush is sweeter, truly conveying a banana’s odor. This strain is far more energizing than a typical “down” strain, and some may not even classify Banana Kush’s effects as “down”. Calling this strain energetic may be an overstatement, but there is a distinct upbeat effect that separates Banana from other Kush hybrids.
Glancing at some data from may help us understand Banana Kush’s complexity better (quick note: the data discussed in the following sentences is not necessarily representative of all harvests of Banana Kush, various environmental factors contribute to cannabinoid/terpene profiles even when dealing with the same genotype of a variety). The potency on this sample of Banana Kush is pretty high, with over 22% total THC content. When we turn to the terpene results, no obvious molecule stands out for producing uplifiting effects. The terpene content is comprised of myrcene, terpinoline, humulene, and caryophyllene, none of which are known for stimulating, or energizing properties. That said, the synergistic relationship that creates Banana Kush’s effects might not be properly understood by simply glancing at a select few terpenes tested, as is the case with allstrains. The terpene results for this sample also may not be representative of the average result for Banana Kush, an average that we will probably never know. Thus, the terpene profile here does not yield us much insight into the special characteristics of Banana Kush.
I wouldn’t use this strain before a work out, but I probably wouldn’t use it to unwind before bed either. I generally utilize this strain for activities that don’t require much physical exertion such as social gatherings. This is a great strain for folks who like relaxing varieties that err on the side of being pro-social, rather than on the side of sedation. If the smell and high potency aren’t enough to get you excited about Banana Kush, the flavor and effects might just make you a fan.
Note: Remember, everyone responds differently to cannabis. Every harvest will be slightly different, even with the same grower. The context in which one uses the strain matters as well as one’s expectations prior to consuming. The information presented in this review isn’t meant to guarantee a specific effect. Always start with a low dose in a comfortable environment to see how the strain impacts you.
Blue Dream, a sativa-dominant hybrid originating in California, has achieved legendary status among West Coast strains. Crossing a Blueberry indica with the sativa Haze, Blue Dream balances full-body relaxation with gentle cerebral invigoration. Novice and veteran consumers alike enjoy the level effects of Blue Dream, which ease you gently into a calm euphoria. Some Blue Dream phenotypes express a more indica-like look and feel, but the sativa-leaning variety remains most prevalent.
A popular strain found mostly in California, Girl Scout Cookies tastes of cotton candy and has a THC level of 18-23%. Girl Scout Cookies is an indica-dominant hyrbrid known for its uplifting, long-lasting cerebral effects while providing the relaxing body high most indicas are known for.
Girl Scout Cookies has a rare combination effect of stimulation and relaxing body buzz. While often prescribed for insomnia and recommended for night use, many patients cite it's low "couch lock" effect as the reasons it is a favorite. In fact, many patients at first mistake Girl Scout Cookies for a sativa if they are used to smoking heavy indicas.
The origins of Girl Scout Cookies is thought to be from either Florida or California. While best known as a California staple, many believe the strain is originally from Florida. We believe it is a little of both. While developed in California, the strain was created using a Florida OG Kush with a Californian Durban Poison. Girl Scout Cookies first spread in California before taking the rest of the U.S. by storm.
Girl Scout Cookies was long a clone-only strain, which constributed to its exclusivity and mystique. As legal cannabis has grown, an increasing number of companies have engineered seeds that can be found in numerous places online.
Girl Scout Cookies plants are of medium height with a tangled phalynx of bright green branches, leading way to dense buds with purple tints. Girl Scout Cookies buds are also known to be covered in frosty crystals, perhaps lending a little more mysitque to its reputation for being one of the sweetest, most potent indica hybrids available.
